The lobby is a spacious and tranquil meeting place from which residents can explore the multiple common areas with fireplaces and cozy, cushioned furnishings, which are perfect for relaxing and conversing. Additionally, residents can listen to music playing from the casual bistro’s jukebox or enjoy meals in the elegant dining hall. The facility’s excellent location is close to Jefferson and St. Clair hospitals and across from the South Hills Village Mall. The “T” light rail is also within easy walking distance.

Juniper Village at Forest Hills is well-known for its commitment to community service. Five-star reviewers state that this facility dedicates time to providing individualized care and companionship to their residents. The staff at Juniper Village are also continually willing to lend a helping hand. One reviewer stated: “Thanks to Juniper Village for the donated rollator they gave to my sister.  She is 68 years old and desperately needed to replace the one she currently has.” 

What Customers Don’t Like 

Reviewers have noted that Juniper Village at Forest Hills could improve on food variety, quality, and choices. While some residents enjoy the food, family members encourage others to try the food before choosing this facility as a permanent residence for a loved one.

Gracious Living is an inviting, family-friendly atmosphere that strives to make residents feel valued. Reviewers say they appreciate the commitment to excellence provided, effective communication by management, and the abundance of activities available for the residents to enjoy. One happy reviewer stated, “The staff is wonderful. The Director of Operations is incredibly kind and works diligently to resolve any requests made by the residents and family members.”

What Customers Don’t Like 

Reviewers have noted that the food provided to residents could benefit from a little improvement. One particular concern is that special diets are sometimes unavailable for residents with dietary restrictions. One reviewer states, “The grade of food that is served is not the best and the meals often duplicated multiple times.”

What Customers Don’t Like 

While a negative review is rare for Brookdale Mt. Lebanon, some reviewers wish that this facility would offer more scheduled meals. “This facility is wonderful, the only issue I have is that they offer just two meals per day. I would like to see them provide more so that family members don’t have to supplement the third meal.”
